Parent & Camper Evaluation 2008

We are asking for feedback on your child(ren)'s experience at Lake Of The Trees Bible Camp (LOTT).

The more we know about what we do well and what we can improve upon - the better LOTT will become. If your camper is not returning next summer we would still like to hear from you to let us know why. We welcome your positive comments as well as constructive criticism.

Please give us your opinion on a new (possible) Camper Fee program.
LOTT serves increasingly diverse income levels in our communities.  No child is turned away due to finances because of our Campership program whereby families can apply for assistance - this was 10% of camper fee revenue in 2008 thanks to generous friends of LOTT.  We see economic strains and want your opinion of how to better serve diverse income levels MEANWHILE preserving Bible Camp for generations to come.

Which camper fee program would best serve all income levels in our communities? Please check your preference (#1 or #2):

1. Our current camper fee program is one, all inclusive price ($260/week) with discounts for early bird registration.  Camperships (assistance) are available upon request and by application.

2. A Tiered Fee Program where families choose the fee they can afford
bullet

Tier 1  Historically subsidized $180 – covers some camp expenses.

bullet

Tier 2  Currently subsidized $260 – covers more camp expenses

bullet

Tier 3 Fully funded $340 – covers all camp expenses.

The Tiered Fee Program is:

R     Voluntary

R     Confidential

R     Does not affect camp experience

R     Will provide best camping possible

R     Serves all community income levels

R     Preserves Bible Camp for generations to come

R    Lower tier fees are subsidized by donors, not other camp fees .

R     Camperships are still available by application

Do you have any additional comments about this tiered fee program idea?
