How You Can Help
 Churches, camps, and individuals need to reach out to the disabled,
their families and care givers, with the good news of the Gospel. There
is a need to offer them the hand of friendship and fellowship, and to present
the Gospel in an understandable manner, so that they can know that Jesus
loves them. Giving them the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as personal
Lord, Savior, and Friend.
How We Can Help You
Special Needs Ministries was established to help churches, camps and
individuals to minister to the disabled, their families, and care givers. We
offer a variety of workshops, and assistance in developing programs for
groups or individuals.
How Are We Unique
What makes Special Needs Ministries unique is that we teach a
foundation that a church, camp, or individual can use to develop a
ministry that meets the specific needs in their area. We do not provide
details on any disability, but give an overview of what to do and not to
do, from the perspective of the disabled and their family.

Cornelius
Thiessen has now become the director of Joy Chapel and Joy Camp.
Henry Paetkau has stepped down as of April 23, 2004 due to increasing
ministry load over seas.
